COM ResearchCommunication Science studies the role of communication in individual and collective change processes. Special attention is paid to communication in societal domains such as agriculture, health, land use, environment and international development. (read more)



Communication Science  proudly presents The Lunch Club!
A new lunch meeting series for bachelor and master students in Applied Communication Science. By organising these lunch meetings, we would like to create an informal platform for communication students to learn and share ideas about topics related to communication science, which are interested enough to trigger a discussion.
The next edition will be on May 21 by Hedwig te Molder, entitled Science is just an opinion.

May 30: Seminar on China's Rural Reconstruction
Prof. dr. Tiejun Wen of the Renmin University of Beijing and Dr. Yiching Song of the Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing will speak about China's Rural Reconstruction. (read more)

Stephen Sherwood will speak at the next TEDXWageningen (May 30) about self-organization and the local potential of rural communities.

Kristof Van Assche
As per June 1st Kristof Van Assche is visiting associate professor at our department. Kristof is a spatial planner, anthropologist and philosopher with an interest in the legal, political and cultural embeddings of spatial and environmental governance. (read more)
